Applied Behavioral Analysis

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a methodology that applies scientific interventions to address behavioral and academic needs.  ABA facilitates the development of language, social interactions, and independent living by applying behavioral principles – positive reinforcement, teaching in small steps, prompting, and practice.  In addition to building critical skills, ABA is effective in the reduction of everyday social problems and serious or dangerous behaviors.

ABA is supported by hundreds of scientific studies demonstrating its effectiveness as a teaching method for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, such as Autism.  ABA is endorsed by the National Institutes of Health and has been identified by the Surgeon General of the United States as the most effective way to treat Autism.
